Model Viewer

The Model Viewer provides an interactive 3D environment to inspect and analyze infrastructure models in detail.

Model Viewer

Viewing Options

Toggle between different viewing modes to best suit your inspection needs:

  • Orthographic: Provides a view without perspective distortion, useful for precise measurements
  • Perspective: Shows the model with natural perspective, similar to how the human eye would see it
  • Enter VR: Enables immersive inspection using virtual reality headsets

Measurement Tools

The viewer includes powerful measurement capabilities:

  • Distance measurement between points
  • Area calculation
  • Angle measurement
  • Elevation profiling

In the example screenshot, measurements of 45.60m and 5.18m spans are displayed on the bridge structure.

Information Panels

The left sidebar contains multiple collapsible panels with important information:

AI Analysis

Advanced defect detection and structural analysis powered by machine learning algorithms:

  • Structural integrity assessment
  • Crack detection
  • Corrosion identification
  • Displacement analysis

Project Info

Basic information about the current project:

  • Project ID
  • Location details
  • Project status

Inspection Status

Indicates if the model has been fully analyzed by the AI systems:

  • Analysis status indicators
  • Pending tasks
  • Completed analyses

Model Details

Technical information about the 3D model:

  • Model ID (e.g., mod-2025-1027c)
  • Model Location (e.g., Napoli)
  • Vertices count (e.g., 6111750)
  • Shift information (x, y, z coordinates)

Identified Defects

  • List of detected defects
  • Severity classifications
  • Location indicators
  • Recommended actions

Tools Panel

The right sidebar provides access to various measurement and analysis tools for detailed inspection:

  • Selection tools
  • Measurement options
  • Annotation tools
  • View controls
  • Cross-section tools
  • Point cloud density adjustments
  • Layer visibility controls

Standard navigation controls are available for interacting with the 3D model:

  • Pan: Move the model horizontally
  • Zoom: Magnify specific areas
  • Rotate: View the model from different angles
  • Reset: Return to the default view
